Kampala – The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has announced that the final registration phase for this year’s Four Examinations (4Es) will close on July 31, 2024.
The 4Es include the Primary Leaving Examination (PLE), Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) – New Curriculum, UCE – Transitional Examination (Old Curriculum), and Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE).
“Heads of Centres that intend to register candidates this year and have not done so are advised to make use of the last two days to do so,” UNEB Executive Director, Dan Odongo, urged.
UNEB reminded the public that this is the last opportunity for learners to register for the Transitional Examination based on the old curriculum.
Eligible candidates include those who sat UCE in 2023 or earlier, adults seeking a UCE certificate, and individuals intending to run for political office without a UCE certificate.
Registration can be done at accredited private halls, UNEB examination centers, or USE schools.
